Why Your Approach Won't Develop Players
Happy November everyone.
The World Series is over and my boyhood team the San Francisco Giants won the Championship. What a scrappy, unselfish group that has fantastic pitching.
I know the Giants have high character guys on the ballclub. They even lost their best hitter and carried on without him.
I will always treasure meeting the Giants bullpen coach from my former college Fresno State, Mark Gardner. Former manager Dusty Baker called Gardy "a Man among Men" at the end of a stellar pitching career and losing his wife to a long battle with cancer.
The Giants truly are a team among teams. Although I was kind of pulling for another great man in Mike Matheny and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Another great man, Brad Mills, was let go as manager of the Houston Astros but has landed back with his buddy Tito Francona with the Cleveland Indians.
Now we have four months before spring training starts again.

Why Your Approach Won't Work.
I am starting to produce DVD's on my baseball development training system. Keep an eye out.
Our current player development system does not work nearly as well as it should.
Why? Too much emphasis on winning and not enough focus on training baseball players.
The DVD's videos will give you and your entire youth baseball league a real live on-camera system to follow in order to properly approach youth baseball with the greatest return on investment.
